WTF, John Dodds and Kathy Sierra

It wasn’t until this morning that I was made to realise that I didn’t have a WTF. John Dodds made me realise it at his blog in his post titled, “WTF Buttons”. But WTF is a WTF? What’s with all the talk by Kathy about a WTF if I don’t know what a WTF is. This is not the usual WTF acronym that I know and use.

So I had to get a WTF sorted out pronto. Read on.

You may not have noticed the new navigation link on the extreme right above this post below the black line called WTF. This is the link to a contact form. When you click on WTF you get taken to the page with the form so that you can contact me to tell me y’all love me, respect me, wanna have my lovechild or to complain.

I don’t want the latter but it is an option I cannot deny you. And I apologise for not having this facility earlier.

I have also got a Contact Me button in the sidebar that is linked to the form. So use the link too.

I said to John that it was stating the obvious. I should have provided this option to you long ago but because it was something I take for granted in normal commercial terms (helpdesk, complaints dept etc etc), it never dawned on me to include it here.

But it is an essential to put a complaint/feedback form in place. Otherwise nothing gets changed or improves. Right? You bet. Never mind that I am not providing you with a car valet service or that the social service I do provide is not tangible. I am providing you a service and you are reading the service I provide. And as it goes, any service I provide should be better than what the next blogger provides.

So you can now help me to improve my service. At long last you can also lambast me with love letters or complaints.
