The Acidic Ice Queen is hoping to get her new car before the weekend which means today is the day she must take delivery.
If it happens today then it is goodbye to Xena her trusted transportation for the previous 4 years.
What I find interesting here is the ability for the dealership to deliver on time. As marketers know, meeting deadlines does wonders to your street cred and is perfect PR. Let’s wait and see. The Acidic Ice QUeen can keep us updated through the rest of today.

*blush* All this attention is making my already disproportionately large head inflate. Of course I didn’t get my car on time! The dealer claimed that he had to make numerous phone calls to find the “specific person” who deals with our Group Scheme (special discount, prime -1%) and this guy apparently said he’d call me Friday (from ABSA)…nothing happened. This morning at about 10:18 I finished a telephonic application, through the normal channels, taking the Group Scheme into consideration. At 10:43 *phone rings* It’s ABSA! They’d like to know if I’m settling my current amount I have with them…YES!…I’ll receive the outcome on Monday. I’ve sent my reference to the dealer and am waiting now, for Monday. So, GREAT follow up time from ABSA in that regard. Now, we’ll keep fingers crossed for Monday. I don’t foresee a problem as I’ve had an account with them for 4 years and never skipped a payment. Fingers crossed!
