UberGuru Boulevard

I want to be a guru. Who doesn’t. But is it too late? Have the first cracks in the bricks & mortar started to appear in the all too brief rule of blogosphere by the marketing, branding and advertising Ubergurus?

The gold paved boulevard is most certainly a better and more attractive option to the potholed tar, brickpaved and dirt tracks I am used to. Everywhere I look in gurusphere the long trail of blogs by wannabe guru-like experts (me included), always backtrails to an UberGuru’s blog and I would prefer that one day soon, all blog trackbacks lead to me.

Until that day, me and the lesser known brown-polka dotted longwinded wannabes who continue to join the guru apprentice lines simply can’t stop our collective jabbering & yapping away like helium-gulping teenagers in our eagerness to catch the attention and approval of The Master UberGurus and the glorious recognition from the rest of the inconsequentials in the domain.

Us teeniegurus should learn that such shallow overt eagerness does not bode well. It annoys the crap out of the lesser strata of bloggers and indeed it puts off a lot of UberGurus too. Some ubers fall for the jabbering and boy oh boy do the blogstrata types get to know all about it from the now helium enriched squeaky I-Got-Noticed-wannabe. Yes, we hear about it again & again, and again and again ad infinitum.

Now, having boldly stated what I stated above, this is all about what I have found out so far and observed during my short but deep journey into the domain where gurugods reside.
