You know what amazes me - Origin offered to pay all the Creditors all money owed in SA as well as offering Graham a fantastic deal - but he rejected it all for a personal PR campaign which will never get these guys paid and ends up with him not being involved with Stormhoek which Hugh Macleod and Jason Korman were behind anyway - from the wine blending techniques to the virals to the blogging and all the 100 dinners… It’s crazy…

So Sarah, from the sounds of what you’re saying, you have inside knowledge here… which indicates that Hugh and Jason offered to buy Graham out? Why SHOULD Graham have sold … after being left high and dry by Orbital? Graham is Stormhoek in South Africa, delivering the flavours that Stormhoek customers want to drink. To me it sounds like Hugh and Jason are on their own mission and would rather see Graham kicked out than stick to their own ‘Stormhoek Standards’ ??? Just an outside opinion.

Hey Sarah

No one would turn down such a fantastic offer (please give us details of this fantastic offer) if it could solve all their problems!

Reveal all so that we can decide for ourselves how fantastic your offer is???

Just as a further aside, how come stormhoek.com (not stormhoek.co.za) deleted all the comments on the blog post - Stormhoek is moving house??

Do they have something to hide??

Maybe the FANTASTIC offer that they speak of!!!

I dont’ think anyone is really involved in a debate here - this ahas nothing to do with jason or hugh - it’s got to do with Origin offering Graham a deal to remain involved in a brand… and that Origin would have payed FOR EVERYTHING EVERY SINGLE PENNY OWED TO ALL CREDITORS… but graham refused…. now… why would someone refuse that… jason and hugh are being paid minimal to help Origin - they’re doing it because Origin asked - EXACTLY the same way Origin asked Graham but Graham refused - so you have this vine campaign (which i’m not criticising) but i don’t see the point when you have a good souled company trying to pay ALL the creditors and Graham says no cos of his own idea… end of

Oh and re comments removed - i wouldn’t know but i would guess it’s because someone nice like Hugh doesn’t like lies and he certainly does not like his art being defaced as some of the bloggers in SA seem to have done… rather odd, since he’s such a sweetheart from what i know!

Sarah, you are just repeating yourself and not giving any facts here of this kind offer.

It would be suicide of any company to turn down such a fantastic solution to all the problems and get all the creditors paid, there has to be a big catch in this “very kind offer” and if Origin is this big kind company, then why not pay the debts anyway.

As to anyone being such a sweetheart, you obviously have first hand knowledge of course?

Something smells very fishy here!
