No, I think Bob is pure evil because he is more intelligent. Idi was a cruel buffoon who resorted to genocide out of fear and insecurity. He was a bully.

Bob is not the same type of toughie or the big powerful idiot with an imposing physique like Amin had. Bob is more sinister, cunning, clever and coniving and possessed of the ability to be so incredibly evil. At least Idi was what you saw, a big lumbering punchdrunk idiot who was possessed of - well not a lot except his will to beat up on people.

Evil Bob must go. He must be ousted. Soon. The sooner the better.

I’ve been on holiday and saw the Zim drama unfold on CNN and BBC World in an Andorran hotal room. I was absolutely aghast when I heard the SA government had sided with the Zimbabwean regime in blaming the MDC. Has Mbeki forgotten so soon what it’s like to be the underdog living in an opressive regime? Oh, sorry - he was studying in Europe while other people were fighting for their freedom. Maybe that explains his memory lapse. I hang my head in shame in the face of all decent Zimbabweans - I apologise on behalf of my sycophantic government.
