Impulse Denial I have fallen many times under the spell of the clever ones and impulse bought something I cannot afford or do not need.

You have done it too.

Thanks to Hugh Macleod at gapingvoid.com and his genius back of business cards cartoons, I found the above cartoon to place on the reverse or in fact the face of my new business cards.

The cartoon acts as a reminder to me to stop impulse buying. So far this week I have only impulse bought TomTom v6 for the Dell PDA a much needed acquistion due to the fact that here in UK I am such a lousy navigator. Without Table Mountain on my left into town or on my right going out to Tokai, I am lost. All these country lanes and high hedgerows obliterate the horizon and so I just get lost. Well that is my justification for the purchase of the latest version of Tom Tom. But that is it for this month. No more.

Season One of Heroes is a tempting buy. Yes, I am receiving huge buy signals here….. where’s my business card??

Thanks Hugh.
