Life would be sweeter if at the moment of birth we were presented with $10,000 and our own copy of a user-manual titled “How To Succeed In Life†with a FAQ or knowledgebase to refer to from that moment on.
But the evolved plan of life as we know it, was to see who the fittest among us are and to see how we survive in life and try to rise above the rest of mankind at whatever we choose to do with our one shot at ‘life’. But all is not lost. If you ENGAGE your success values you will improve your chances at succeeding.
“Hang on a minute chap” I hear you say, “What is ENGAGE and what are Success Values”? Alright, fair point, let me explain.
There are thousands of great motivational and self-improvement seminars, books, DVDs, tapes & CDs written and presented by giants like Napolean Hill, Zig Ziglar, Richard Bandler, John Maxwell, Donna Krech, Jim Rohn, Robert Kiyosaki, Ron White and many more. They all are profoundly brilliant at what they do. However, I do not know of anyone of them who specifically addresses the need to ensure your blueprint for life is well cared for. You see, the blueprint for your life is laid down very early in your life and it is absolutely essential that the values that get instilled in your psyche are nurtured and developed to become the cornerstones of the life ahead of you. In my view it is the blueprints, these foundations that truly are the essence of who you are and become, and it is these success values that will determine to a large degree your outcomes in life and work.
I call these blueprints your Success Values and it seems to me that they have remained overshadowed by the motivational and self-improvement media for far too long. These success values need to be treated so carefully and are very important components to the way you improve your chances through self-improvement courses to succeed in the 3 main areas of life in which you will participate:
Unless you fully engage your personal success values along with your business or life plan, you might be limiting your chances to succeed in your chosen objectives.
ENGAGE can supply you with multiple options from which you might select as few or as many values to help you achieve your objectives. How effective the ENGAGE is will depend on how actively you engage the success values you alone will determine to be your blueprint for how you will engage your life and work.
What is ENGAGE? This is the title of a presentation I gave early 2003 to a group of employees. The group consisted then of young Gereration Xers or Milleniels who I as Head of Dept was having a problem with. In other words, they could not care less, had zero ambition (as it seemed at the time), were lacklustre in performance of assigned tasks and preferred to receive their paypacket but not do an honest day’s work for it. In other words, the world owed them for being alive.

So I designed a presentation made up of core personal values, called the show ENGAGE and presented it. To my astonishment, the group was captivated so much so that a distinct change to their attitudes, work ethic and success ambitions took place. They accepted responsibility. They demanded to be accountable. They wanted to mentor other staff in other departments, shatter their KPI, and progress their careers. Motivation levels improved and yearend results were record-breaking. All because they ENGAGED their success values.

ENGAGE could help you to answer some of these questions:
how to succeed at being yourself how to succeed at business networking how to succeed as single mother in college how to succeed as a community worker how to go about changing the way you succeed how communication can help you to succeed
It is important that you know and accept that you alone can change your life for the better. You can. Easily. All you need to do is decide that you want to and once you do, your desire to drive yourself tenaciously toward your goals will take on a momentum of its own. And suddenly you will begin to achieve your plans. I did it and what you are reading is a result of my decision to ENGAGE my values which only took a nanosecond of electrical impulse in my brain to activate and set me going relentlessly on a course of action.
What ENGAGE can do is provide a guide to what you will decide are your important triggers to help you rediscover the blueprint, your own success values, to your life.
