Facebook versus Real World

WHY I THINK FACEBOOK IS THE PITS

If I post anything related to Facebook:

1.) It attracts readers.

2.) It creates reactions.

3.) It attracts comments.

4.) It encourages thought.

If I post an article (see here) about potentially cataclysmic events in the real world that could be detrimental to your future existence on this planet:

1.) It creates no reactions. Not a flutter.

2.) You probably don’t give a shit if your Earth dies

3.) You don’t pass comment

4.) You prefer to meet up with virtual mates on FB

4.) You place more faith & importance in something so unreal, so shallow, so transient as Facebook.

This is why I think Facebook is the pits. You no longer care about Earth.

The Citadel

The Citadel

This is the Citadel at Villefranche-Sur-Mer, my home from home in Europe. The Citadel protected this region of France from invasion.

The best lookong fisherperson I have seen at this spot, but fishing from the rocks below the chappie I snapped here, was a beautiful topless lady. Yeah, I did not have a mobile or camera with me at the time. Damn!

And this is why the route around the base of the Citadel became a favoured daily ‘promenade’ puor moi!
