Is this for real? Is this a cruel joke? It must be a cruel joke. Surely?

“South Africa’s health minister has long promoted a diet including garlic and lemon as a way of treating Aids.”

How does a diet that includes garlic and lemon help an AIDS or HIV victim? Someone please help me on this.
