The trial was adjourned several times due to legal arguments. It soon became politicised as [[Paul Kruger (lawyer)|Paul Kruger]], their defence lawyer, argued that the South African government was [[illegitimate]] and [[unconstitutional]], and that the [[South African general election, 1994|first multi-racial elections]] in the country had not been valid, as white voters were never consulted. [http://www.news24.com/News24/South_Africa/News/0,6119,2-7-1442_1361519,00.html] The defence planned to call the former [[President of South Africa]], [[FW De Klerk]] as a witness to prove their case, however the court later ruled that he could not be forced to stand. In an extraordinary move, the alleged terrorists claimed that they had been subject to [[torture]] in the jail in which they were being held. They had, in fact, been forced at times to listen to loud [[rap music]] in the [[C-Max Prison|Pretoria prison]] in which they were being held [http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/3162997.stm], but it is debatable whether this constituted torture. Nonetheless, the judge presiding over the case, [[Eberhardt Bertelsmann]], forbade the prison authorities from broadcasting [[Metro FM]], the offending radio station. However, the prisoners had to buy portable [[radio]]s and [[batteries]] for inmates who wanted to continue listening to the music. [http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/3083420.stm] |

Ever sat down at your PC and felt completely devoid of any ability to exploit one of your natural talents that could make you stand out in the rapidly expanding, bloating and crowding up green room of blogosphere experts?
If you don’t paint, write books, turn online marketing principles upside down, invent new online marketing rules, lifecoach the filmstars, am a Holly or Bollywood AKkToRRrr, then what the hell do you do to make you popular or relevent in blogspace?
What angle do you have that can turn you from being the proverbial wallflower on the blogosphere wall into an expert or uberguru like me?

The idea of taking art to the people is being taken to heart by various artists that are placing their art inside shops without the knowledge or permission of the shop owner. The practice, known as droplifting or reverse shoplifting, starting in 1989 when the Barbie Liberation Front exchanged the voiceboxes of Barbie Dolls and GI Joes and put the resultant ‘art’ back on the shelves.

Ever given up on an idea? Yes? How many ideas have you had and discarded to the ‘it doesn’t stand a chance scrapheap’ or binned them in the ‘it’s the morning after & it looks stupid n silly’ garbage can? Next time you want to bin an idea – don’t. Please take your Idea Seed and plant it in a pot and place in your virtual Idea Greenhouse.
We will never know how many wonderful ideas and innovations have been consigned to the rubbish tip or trash-can because the originator has not given the idea time to take root and grow. All ideas need to be nurtured, so please start sponsoring ideas and nurturing your own.
Persist in feeding the idea seeds to become seedlings. Once your idea becomes a seedling, it starts to look feasible and attractive to others who in turn can provide more nutrients to help it survive and reach the next growth level.
Ideas do need altering and have design flaws corrected .The final result may not resemble the original Idea Seed but you can be pleased that your original concept was given the opportunity to grow instead of being trashed along with many other potential great works.

Have you ever watched a corporation commit business suicide?
I am constantly amazed at how after consecutive years of poor revenue returns, a Board of Directors can in clear conscience elect to downsize the workforce from the rank and file. Why must these people pay the penalty for the arseholes at senior management level that created & caused the profit warnings? After all, it is their pisspoor management that creates the crisis, so why should these idiots remain safe from the cull? This is not good.
In this set of circumstances, Senior Sales management should be the first to go. Because why? Because they will repeat the mistakes. If these clowns cannot provide the product or motivate their sales force to bring home the results, then guess where I think they belong?
So please bring in the new blood & say good riddance to non-performing execs BEFORE you cut the workforce and lose key personnel.
